Laurel Ames is an award-winning art director, designer, and illustrator based in New York. Since the age of three, Laurel knew she was destined for a career in the creative field. She graduated with a BFA in Communications Design from Pratt Institute and has since led and contributed to award-winning campaigns, websites, and identities for clients in a variety of industries. Her experiences working in agencies of various sizes and running an independent design and strategy business have made her a strong creative leader with a passion for mentorship.

Laurel is a fourth-generation crocheter, running workshops and creating handmade goods. When she’s not designing, she’s in the kitchen perfecting her chocolate chip cookie recipe.
